Position Summary

This full-time Coffee Equipment Technician — Fix the Machines Behind the Perfect Cup role based in New Braunfels, Texas puts you on the front lines of service and repair for commercial and semi-commercial coffee equipment. You will troubleshoot issues, restore machines to reliable operation, and help customers avoid downtime. Ccr seeks a hands-on technician who takes pride in clear diagnostics, quality workmanship, and professional on-site service across the New Braunfels and surrounding area.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and water-system faults on espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and related coffee equipment
• Perform repairs, part replacements, calibrations, and preventive maintenance to manufacturer standards
• Install, set up, and commission new or relocated coffee equipment at customer sites
• Respond to service calls, prioritize urgent breakdowns, and communicate status and timelines clearly to customers
• Document work performed, parts used, and follow-up recommendations in service records
• Maintain tools, test equipment, and a safe, organized work approach in the field and workshop
• Advise operators on basic care and usage practices that support machine longevity and cup quality

Requirements

• Proven mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience repairing electromechanical equipment (coffee-specific experience is a strong plus)
• Ability to read manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical guidance and apply them accurately
• Comfort working with water systems, heating elements, pumps, valves, and basic electrical components under safe practices
• Strong customer-facing communication and the ability to explain issues and solutions clearly
• Reliable self-management for service routes in and around New Braunfels, Texas, and readiness for an on-site, non-remote role
• Physical ability to lift and move equipment and parts as commonly required in field service
