Cloud Architect and Infrastructure Lead (CAIL) with Security Clearance

Rividium, Inc seeks an experienced Cloud Architect and Infrastructure Lead to design and oversee secure AWS GovCloud environments that power mission-critical government applications and services in Alexandria. This is a full-time role for a technically strategic leader ready to shape resilient, compliant cloud infrastructure and drive modernization initiatives.

Position Summary

As Cloud Architect and Infrastructure Lead at Rividium, Inc, you'll architect and manage AWS GovCloud solutions that meet federal security requirements and performance standards. You'll lead infrastructure strategy, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure systems support continuity and operational excellence for government stakeholders in the Alexandria area and beyond.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS GovCloud architectures that meet federal compliance, security, and scalability requirements
• Lead infrastructure planning, deployment, and maintenance activities to support mission performance and service availability
• Develop cloud standards, best practices, and governance frameworks for secure, efficient operations
• Partner with security, operations, and development teams to integrate security controls and resilience into cloud designs
• Oversee infrastructure modernization initiatives and technology evaluations to optimize performance and reduce risk
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a collaborative technical environment

Skills & Qualifications

• Active Top Secret or Secret security clearance required
• Proven expertise designing and managing AWS GovCloud infrastructure at scale
• Deep knowledge of federal compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, NIST, CISO guidelines, etc.)
• Strong background in cloud architecture, infrastructure-as-code, and DevOps practices
• Experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers
• Demonstrated ability to balance security, performance, and cost in complex environments
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
