About the Role

As a Class A Contract Driver (1099) hauling dry van freight over the road, you will run solo routes while earning a competitive weekly average. This full-time, on-site driving position with GJ GROUP INC offers consistent miles and a no-touch freight model, so you can focus on the road instead of the dock.

• Average weekly gross pay between $1,200 and $1,600
• Roughly 2,200 to 2,800 miles logged per week
• $300 sign-on bonus for new contract drivers
• No-touch freight — no driver load or unload required

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a dry van on long-haul, over-the-road routes as a solo driver
• Transport freight safely and on schedule across assigned lanes
• Maintain compliance with all DOT and federal driving regulations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Communicate consistently with dispatch regarding route and delivery status

Home Time

• Expect approximately 7 to 14 days out per dispatch cycle
• Earn 4 days of home time for every 14 days worked
• Be home for at least two weekends each month

Qualifications

• Valid Class A commercial driver's license
• No license restrictions for (L, Z) air brakes or (G) night driving
• Comfortable running solo OTR routes for extended periods
• Strong commitment to safety and on-time delivery
