GJ GROUP INC is hiring a Class A Contract Driver (1099) for solo OTR dry van routes based out of Springfield, Greene County. If you hold your Class A and want steady miles with reliable home time, this owner-operator-style contract role is built for you.

About the Role

This is a full-time, 1099 contract driving opportunity hauling dry van freight over the road as a solo driver. Weekly gross pay averages between $1,200 and $1,600, with typical mileage running 2,200 to 2,800 miles per week. A $300 sign-on bonus is offered to qualifying contract drivers joining GJ GROUP INC.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A dry van on long-haul, over-the-road (OTR) routes as a solo contract driver
• Transport freight safely and on schedule across regional and national lanes
• Maintain compliance with all DOT and federal driving regulations
• No driver load or unload required — focus your time on the road, not the dock

Home Time

• Expect 7 to 14 days out per stretch
• Earn 4 days of home time for every 14 days worked
• Be home at least 2 weekends each month

Qualifications

• Valid Class A commercial driver's license
• No restrictions for (L, Z) Air Brakes or (G) Night Driving on your license
• Comfortable with extended OTR runs and solo long-haul driving
• Commitment to safe, reliable, on-time delivery
