About the Role
FreshPoint Pittsburgh, a Sysco Company, is seeking experienced CDL Local Delivery Drivers to join our team. Drive Forward into a new career with us and enjoy being home daily while delivering fresh produce. This role involves client-facing customer service during early morning shifts starting between 12:00 AM.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive delivery trucks safely and efficiently in local areas
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time to meet client needs
- Handle fresh produce with care, ensuring quality during transport
- Provide excellent customer service to clients at the point of delivery
- Follow company policies and safety guidelines while driving
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles as required
Skills & Qualifications
- Holding a valid Class A or B CDL license with appropriate endorsements for hazardous materials (if applicable)
- 1+ year experience in local delivery driving is preferred, but not mandatory
- A strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings
- Possess a clean driving record with no major traffic violations within the last 3 years
