CDL-A Truck Driver – No-Touch Freight

Ryder is actively hiring a full-time CDL-A Truck Driver for a regional No-Touch Freight route based out of Wilmore, Jessamine County — a role built for experienced drivers who want consistent miles, predictable home time, and a straightforward freight experience.

About the Role

This is a regional CDL-A position running a dedicated no-touch freight operation. Drivers can expect 2,400 to 2,800 solo miles per week on a structured regional route with 3 to 5 overnights, giving you a reliable rhythm between time on the road and time at home.

Compensation Breakdown

• Total weekly earning potential up to $1,900
• Solo mileage pay at $0.59 per mile
• Drop-and-hook pay of $14.00 per stop
• Per diem pay of $50 per overnight, with 3–5 overnight opportunities per week

What You'll Do

• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle over a regional freight lane out of Wilmore, Jessamine County
• Perform drop-and-hook trailer exchanges — no loading or unloading required
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in accordance with DOT standards
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation using ELD systems
• Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route status and any delays
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local transportation regulations

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean MVR
• Meets FMCSA minimum age requirement (21+)
• Verifiable tractor-trailer experience
• Ability to manage overnight stays (3–5 per week) on a regional schedule
• Strong commitment to safety, timeliness, and professional conduct
