This full-time regional position keeps you moving freight that matters while getting you back to your family every week.
About the Role
As a Class A CDL truck driver with Dollar General Fleet, you'll run regional routes designed to bring you home on a weekly basis. Your days behind the wheel directly support the retail network millions of households rely on, transporting product from our distribution centers to established and newly opening Dollar General locations throughout the region and across the country.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Class A commercial vehicle safely on regional, home-weekly routes
- Move freight between Dollar General distribution centers and retail stores
- Support deliveries to both existing locations and new store openings
- Conduct vehicle inspections and follow all DOT and company safety standards
- Maintain accurate trip and delivery documentation
Qualifications
- A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A)
- Willingness to run regional routes with a weekly home schedule
- A commitment to safe, professional, on-time driving
- Ability to perform the physical duties associated with over-the-road delivery work
- Reliability and a strong work ethic that fits a team-oriented fleet
