About the Role

As a trainee driver at McLane, you'll gain hands-on experience operating commercial vehicles across our nationwide network. We provide structured guidance and mentorship to help you build the skills and confidence needed to excel in professional freight transportation, with an emphasis on safety and operational excellence from day one.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate commercial vehicles transporting freight and supplies nationwide
• Follow all Department of Transportation regulations and company safety protocols
• Maintain accurate logbooks and trip documentation
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Build strong client relationships through professional, dependable service
• Contribute to on-time, damage-free deliveries

What We're Looking For

• Valid CDL-A license or willingness to obtain one
• Clean driving record and demonstrated commitment to safe driving practices
• Reliability and ability to meet delivery schedules consistently
• Professional demeanor and honest communication
