About the Role
As a Delivery Driver with our SYGMA Pennsylvania team, you'll operate a commercial vehicle to transport food and related products to customer locations throughout your assigned route. What You'll Do
- Operate a Class A commercial vehicle safely and efficiently while adhering to all federal and state transportation regulations
- Deliver products to restaurants, hotels, catering companies, and other foodservice establishments in West End and surrounding areas
- Inspect and maintain your vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues promptly
- Load, unload, and secure freight to ensure product quality and delivery safety
- Manage your delivery route and meet daily performance targets
- Provide professional customer service and build strong relationships with established accounts
- Complete all required documentation, including delivery confirmations and vehicle logs
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with Department of Transportation requirements
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) with air brake endorsement and clean driving record
- Minimum 1–2 years of commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift and handle freight weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Commitment to safety, punctuality, and professional conduct
- Ability to work a full-time schedule, including early morning starts
- High school diploma or equivalent
