What This Role Involves

As a Casual Sales Assistant, you'll deliver outstanding customer service whilst supporting the smooth running of our Bolton retail store. This part-time position offers the perfect opportunity to develop your retail skills in a fast-paced environment, handling customer transactions, maintaining store standards, and contributing to a positive shopping experience for every visitor.

Core Duties

• Serve customers on the shop floor, answering product questions and helping them find what they need
• Process transactions at the till accurately and efficiently
• Receive, check, and arrange incoming stock
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and keep display areas clean and tidy
• Support the wider team to achieve store targets and provide excellent service
• Respond to customer enquiries professionally and courteously at all times

Skills & Qualifications

• Customer service experience is desirable but not essential
• Ability to work well within a team and independently when required
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner
• Reliability and commitment to regular attendance
• Willingness to learn and develop in a retail setting
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexibly
