What This Role Involves
As a weekend caregiver at Total Care Connections, you will provide compassionate and professional care to seniors, veterans, and disabled adults. Your role involves ensuring the well-being of clients through daily activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and companionship.
Your Responsibilities
- Assist with personal hygiene and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks
- Help with mobility and assist in transferring to/from chairs or beds
- Provide medication management support
- Offer companionship and engage clients in activities of their choice
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Communicate regularly with family members about client progress
Requirements
- Prior experience as a caregiver or CNA is preferred but not required
- A strong commitment to providing compassionate care
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and safety procedures
- A valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Clean background check and drug screening (if applicable)
