About the Role

As a Sales Development Representative at Cresta, you'll generate qualified pipeline through a mix of outbound prospecting and inbound lead qualification. Your work directly supports Cresta's rapid scaling, helping the broader sales organization win new business. We're seeking motivated professionals who pair business savvy and technical curiosity with a genuine instinct for selling. This New York City–based position is hybrid and requires in-office collaboration two days each week, on Mondays and Wednesdays — a firm and non-negotiable expectation of the role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Expand Cresta's customer base through tailored emails, phone calls, and inventive social outreach.
  • Craft sharp, persuasive messaging that captures the attention of target accounts.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to design and run outreach campaigns that grow revenue.
  • Interpret market research to shape strategies that build awareness and spark interest in Cresta.
  • Team up with account executives to book meetings and develop a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Build and prioritize lists of target accounts and key contacts.
  • Lead meaningful, high-level conversations with executives at prospective accounts.
  • Hit monthly goals for meetings booked, qualified opportunities, and pipeline created.
  • Support the creation of sales pitches, presentations, reference materials, and related documents.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • At least one year of sales experience, ideally within a software or high-tech company.
  • Comfort thriving in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven setting.
  • A naturally competitive drive paired with a resilient, positive, team-first mindset.
  • A self-starter who spots opportunities and acts on them without waiting to be asked.
  • Strong organization and the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Polished business acumen and clear, concise, compelling storytelling across written, verbal, and visual formats.
