About This Position

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef to join our dynamic team at one of our cafés in Eynesbury, St. Neots. As a Cafe Chef, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared, stored, and served with the highest standards of quality and presentation. Your role will involve creating delicious meals that keep our customers coming back for more, contributing to an environment where every day can be better.

Core Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes from scratch using fresh ingredients
• Ensure all food is stored correctly to maintain quality and safety standards
• Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring customers are satisfied with their dining experience
• Follow health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Work closely with the café team to meet daily operational goals and customer demands

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef in a hospitality setting, preferably within a café or similar environment
• Demonstrated ability to prepare, cook, and store food according to health and safety standards
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage and interact positively with customers
• A strong understanding of kitchen operations and efficient workflow in a fast-paced setting
• Certification in food hygiene and safety is preferred but not mandatory
