Outside Sales Consultant / Business Performance Advisor

Join Insperity in San Diego as an Outside Sales Consultant and Business Performance Advisor. We're seeking a driven sales professional to build relationships with local businesses and help them transform their HR operations and workplace performance.

About the Role

As an Outside Sales Consultant and Business Performance Advisor, you'll represent Insperity's comprehensive HR solutions to businesses across the San Diego region. This is a full-time, on-site position where you'll be the face of our company—building trust, identifying client needs, and closing deals that matter. You'll work independently while supported by Insperity's team of HR experts and resources across our 90+ nationwide locations.

What You'll Do

• Develop and manage a territory of prospective business clients in the San Diego area, using consultative selling to understand their HR challenges and performance goals
• Conduct needs assessments with business owners and decision-makers, translating their pain points into solutions from Insperity's suite of HR services
• Present Insperity's value proposition and negotiate contracts that align with client needs and timelines
• Build lasting relationships with clients, serving as their primary advisor on human resources strategy and workplace performance
• Collaborate with Insperity's service teams to ensure successful onboarding and client satisfaction
• Track pipeline activity and sales metrics, reporting progress and forecasting revenue

What We're Looking For

• Proven outside sales experience, preferably in B2B services, HR, staffing, or consulting
• Strong ability to prospect, qualify leads, and close sales in a consultative environment
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills—both written and verbal
• Self-directed work style with the drive to manage your own territory and hit targets
• Understanding of HR challenges facing small-to-mid-size businesses, or willingness to develop that knowledge
• Proficiency with CRM tools and sales reporting systems
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for in-person client meetings in San Diego County
