About the Role
As a Data Analyst at SQLI in Morocco (nationwide) (nationwide), you will partner closely with your Client Lead and squad to deliver high-quality analytics that inform decision-making. You will own analytics data views, refine reporting capabilities, and act as a trusted advisor who keeps the team focused on the work that matters most. This is an on-site, full-time position.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate client briefs into reliable analysis, collaborating with your team to uphold quality standards.
- Build and maintain analytics data views and SQL stored procedures for accurate, timely reporting.
- Blend internal and external data sources to deliver a complete, holistic view of performance.
- Distil complex information into precise insights and communicate them clearly to stakeholders.
- Take part in daily Agile ceremonies, flagging blockers early to keep delivery on track.
- Continuously refine processes through efficiencies and best practice, contributing to the analytics roadmap.
- Challenge backlogs and stakeholders to prioritise high-impact, customer-focused work.
Qualifications
- 2+ years writing complex SQL queries against large relational customer databases and updating stored procedures.
- Proven ability to extract insight from large datasets and share actionable findings business-wide.
- Familiarity with GitHub and quality-assuring SQL scripts; strong problem-solving and data-troubleshooting skills.
- Talent for crafting compelling, easy-to-understand data visualisations.
- Confident communicator who adapts messaging for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Solid Excel and MS Office skills; Python and/or R and Power BI experience are welcome bonuses.
- Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or another highly numerate discipline.
- Highly organised, curious, customer-focused, and fluent in English; telecoms experience is a plus.
