Join Delaware Schools Consortium is hiring Bus Aides for the 2026-2027 School Year (Hourly), an in-person, full-time transportation support role based in the United States with the Indian River School District. If you enjoy keeping students safe and supporting a smooth daily commute to and from school, this Bus Attendant opportunity is for you.
About the Role
As a Bus Aide with Join Delaware Schools Consortium, you will work alongside bus drivers to ensure a secure, orderly, and welcoming ride for every student. This hourly transportation position is assigned through the Indian River School District and is coordinated out of the Indian River Administrative Office. It is an on-site role and is not remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Help students board and exit the bus safely at designated stops and at school.
- Monitor rider behavior and maintain a calm, respectful environment throughout each route.
- Support students who may need additional assistance during transport.
- Reinforce safety procedures and follow district transportation guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with the bus driver, school staff, and families as needed.
