Behavior Technician

Northeast Family Services is hiring a full-time Behavior Technician in Medford, Middlesex County, to deliver compassionate, evidence-based behavioral support to the children and families we serve. About the Role

This is an on-site, full-time Fee For Service (FFS) Behavior Technician position based in Medford, Middlesex County. Working under the guidance of a supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will put individualized behavior support plans into practice, helping clients reduce challenging behaviors while developing meaningful new abilities through ABA-based instruction.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out each client's behavior support plan as designed by the supervising BCBA.
• Apply ABA-based teaching strategies to encourage skill acquisition and positive development.
• Use proven intervention techniques to lessen problematic and disruptive behaviors.
• Collect accurate behavioral data and document client progress during every session.
• Partner closely with the BCBA and care team, adjusting your approach as direction is provided.
• Maintain a supportive, consistent, and respectful environment for each client.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and supporting individuals with developmental and behavioral needs.
• Willingness to follow the direction of a supervising BCBA and implement structured behavior plans with fidelity.
• Strong communication, patience, and reliable attention to detail for data tracking.
• Ability to work on-site in Medford, Middlesex County, on a full-time basis.
• RBT certification or prior Behavior Technician experience is a plus, though training pathways may be available for motivated candidates.
