About the Role
We're seeking experienced baristas to prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages in a fast-paced campus environment. This is a full-time position offering consistent weekday hours Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. We're hiring immediately to fill multiple barista positions at our 6375 West Charleston Boulevard location in Las Vegas, Nevada.
What You'll Do
- Craft espresso-based drinks and specialty coffees to precise specifications
- Operate commercial espresso machines and coffee equipment with proficiency
- Deliver friendly, efficient customer service during peak and off-peak hours
- Maintain cleanliness and proper sanitation of work stations and equipment
- Collaborate with teammates to manage customer flow and optimize service efficiency
- Process cash and card transactions accurately
- Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience as a Starbucks barista or coffee bar barista (required)
- Demonstrated proficiency with espresso machines and milk steaming techniques
- Knowledge of coffee varieties, origins, and flavor profiles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Reliability, punctuality, and commitment to professional standards
- Food safety awareness and dedication to hygiene practices
