The Opportunity
Our client in Pretoria is seeking a seasoned Back-End Developer to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for the development of backend and frontend user stories, actively participating in all regular Scrum ceremonies, and contributing to the refinement of user stories.
Responsibilities
- Development of backend and frontend user stories
- Active participation in all regular Scrum ceremonies
- Contribution to the refinement of user stories (user stories at the beginning of a development sprint might not be fully specified)
- Liaising with stakeholders and team members
Requirements
- Experience in backend development, preferably with a focus on senior roles
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#
- Familiarity with database technologies like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
- Knowledge of web frameworks and tools (e.g., Django, Spring, Flask)
