Bridgestone Americas is hiring an Automotive Senior Technician in Perry, Houston County for a full-time position. We're looking for an experienced technician ready to lead and excel in our high-performing automotive service teams.
About the Role
As an Automotive Senior Technician, you'll combine hands-on expertise with leadership, diagnosing complex vehicle problems and mentoring team members while delivering exceptional service. You'll work at one of our Firestone Complete Auto Care, Tires Plus, or Wheel Works locations, using advanced diagnostic tools and proven techniques to keep vehicles running safely and efficiently.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose vehicle mechanical and electrical issues using industry-standard diagnostic equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and complex repairs across all vehicle systems
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and communicate findings clearly to customers
- Lead by example, training and supporting technicians at your location
- Maintain safe, compliant work practices and keep your shop organized
- Document all work accurately and handle customer communication professionally
- Stay current with evolving automotive technology and repair standards
What We're Looking For
- Multiple years of automotive repair and maintenance experience
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- ASE certification or equivalent technical credentials preferred
- Proven ability to lead and mentor other technicians
- Reliable work history and professional demeanor
- Knowledge of automotive safety standards and best practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
