Tonkin Mazda of Portland, part of Gee Automotive Companies, is seeking full-time Automotive Sales Representatives/Consultants to join our expanding team in Rockwood. Our dealership, located off SE 122nd Ave, is actively hiring commission-based sales professionals ready to build a rewarding career selling quality Mazda vehicles to the Portland community.

About the Role

As an Automotive Sales Representative/Consultant, you'll be at the heart of our dealership operation. You'll work directly with customers on the lot and in our showroom, helping them find the right vehicle that fits their needs and budget. Your success will come from building genuine relationships, understanding what customers truly want, and guiding them through a transparent, professional purchase experience.

What You'll Do

• Greet and engage customers to understand their vehicle preferences, budget, and timeline
• Conduct product demonstrations and highlight features that match customer interests
• Present financing and pricing information with clarity and professionalism
• Manage the complete sales process from initial inquiry through paperwork and delivery
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and build lasting relationships
• Meet individual and dealership sales goals consistently
• Maintain comprehensive product knowledge about our Mazda inventory and lineup

What We're Looking For

• Proven success in automotive sales, retail sales, or customer-facing commission roles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Comfort working on a commission-based compensation structure
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset with drive to succeed
• Customer-first, honest approach to sales
• Availability to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends
• Valid driver's license
