Attorney, Enterprise Sales

Lumen is hiring a full-time Attorney, Enterprise Sales to support our commercial legal practice and sales operations in Wake Island, Honolulu. You'll partner with our sales and legal teams to close deals, manage enterprise contracts, and deliver strategic counsel that drives growth across our customer portfolio.

About the Role

This position sits at the intersection of legal expertise and business development. You'll provide proactive counsel to Lumen's enterprise sales organization, ensuring contracts protect our interests while remaining competitive and executable. Your work directly impacts deal velocity, risk mitigation, and customer satisfaction for some of our largest accounts.

What You'll Do

  • Draft, review, and negotiate enterprise customer agreements, service-level agreements (SLAs), and complex commercial contracts
  • Advise the sales team on legal risk, deal structure, and contract terms during the sales cycle
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve legal and commercial issues that block or delay transactions
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies across deal documentation
  • Manage end-to-end legal workflows, from initial LOI through contract execution
  • Build and maintain templates and playbooks that accelerate contract review and negotiation processes
  • Identify and escalate high-risk contract issues to senior legal leadership

What We're Looking For

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal qualification with good standing to practice law
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial contract law, enterprise sales law, or corporate transactions
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills; ability to explain legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven sales environment
  • Familiarity with telecommunications, technology, or enterprise software sales (preferred but not required)
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication
