Associate Attorney (Defense, Personal Injury)

Cruitin is hiring a full-time Associate Attorney (Defense, Personal Injury) in East Irvine, to join a growing litigation team handling personal injury defense matters.

About the Role

As an Associate Attorney focused on personal injury defense, you will join Cruitin's expanding litigation practice in East Irvine. This on-site, full-time position is ideal for a driven attorney with one to five years of experience who is ready to sharpen their courtroom and case-management abilities across a varied defense caseload.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of personal injury defense litigation matters from intake through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop defense strategies for assigned cases.
• Represent clients at hearings, depositions, and other proceedings as appropriate to experience level.
• Coordinate with senior attorneys, clients, and opposing counsel to move cases forward efficiently.

Qualifications

• One to five years of practicing experience, ideally within litigation or personal injury defense.
• Active license to practice law in California and good standing with the State Bar.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage competing deadlines.
• Willingness to work on-site in East Irvine.
