The Learning Experience Corp - Viera, FL is seeking a dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our early education team in Satellite Beach, Brevard County.
About the Role
As an Assistant Teacher, you will partner with lead educators to nurture young learners, support daily classroom activities, and help bring our curriculum to life in a warm, engaging environment.
What You'll Do
- Assist in planning and executing age‑appropriate lessons and play‑based activities
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom setting
- Guide children through routines, encouraging social‑emotional growth and independence
- Communicate regularly with families about each child’s progress and daily experiences
- Support lead teachers with observations, assessments, and documentation of developmental milestones
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and center‑wide events
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent; coursework or certification in early childhood education is a plus
- Previous experience working with preschool‑age children in a licensed setting
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a genuine enthusiasm for child development
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and administrative staff
- Successful completion of a background check and any required state clearances
