What This Role Involves
The role of Assistant Programme Manager at sKids is to ensure that mornings and afternoons are unforgettable for children. You will be responsible for managing the daily operations during specific shifts, providing a warm and engaging environment for young learners.
- Work a minimum of 10 hours per week, rostered across Monday to Friday
- Morning/Before school shifts run between 7am - 8.30am
- Afternoon/After School shifts run between 2.30pm–6.00pm
- Availability from 2.30pm is essential, though finish time varies based on shift
Your Responsibilities
Your primary role will be to create a welcoming and stimulating environment for children, ensuring their safety and well-being. You will also assist in the planning and implementation of educational activities that align with sKids' mission.
- Facilitate engaging morning and afternoon activities for children
- Ensure all children are accounted for during shifts
- Support the Programme Manager in managing daily operations
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment for children
Skills & Qualifications
To succeed as an Assistant Programme Manager, you should have:
- A passion for working with children aged 5-12 years old
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in a childcare or education setting is advantageous but not required
- A friendly, approachable demeanor to engage with both children and parents
