About the Role

As Assistant Manager at Waterside Residences, you'll work directly alongside the Property Manager to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly, support current residents, and drive leasing activity for prospective renters. This is a hands-on, community-facing role that blends customer service, financial administration, and sales.

What You'll Do

• Champion a positive community atmosphere by building strong relationships with both prospective and current residents
• Guide prospects through the leasing process from initial inquiry to signed lease, ensuring an outstanding experience at every touchpoint
• Execute consistent follow-up outreach with leads and existing residents to maximize occupancy and retention
• Monitor accounts receivable, track delinquencies, and take appropriate action to collect outstanding balances in a timely manner
• Compile and organize accounts payable documentation for review and approval by the Property Manager
• Support the Property Manager with administrative tasks, resident communications, and compliance with community policies
• Maintain accurate records in property management software and assist with reporting as needed
• Help resolve resident concerns promptly, maintaining a high standard of customer service throughout the community

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience in residential property management, leasing, or a related customer-facing role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills — comfortable engaging with prospects, residents, and vendors alike
• Basic bookkeeping aptitude; familiarity with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced leasing environment
• Proficiency with property management software or the willingness to learn quickly
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset and genuine commitment to community building
