About the Role
This full-time, on-site Assistant General Manager position in Wilmington, New Hanover County, partners closely with the General Manager to oversee every aspect of property operations. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will help guide the community toward its financial and operational targets while delivering an outstanding living experience for residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager in directing all on-site operations across the property.
- Help drive the community toward the financial and operational goals set by management.
- Monitor and strengthen performance across traffic, prospect activity, leasing, renewals, and revenue.
- Contribute to a smooth, resident-focused experience throughout the leasing and renewal cycle.
- Step in to assist with management duties and decision-making as needed to keep operations running efficiently.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in property, residential, or student housing management, ideally in an assistant or supervisory capacity.
- Strong grasp of leasing, renewals, and revenue-related performance metrics.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer-service skills.
- Ability to collaborate with leadership while taking ownership of daily operational tasks.
- Willingness to work full-time and on-site at the Wilmington, New Hanover County community.
