Assistant Director of Safety & Security

Prestonwood Baptist Church is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Safety & Security to help safeguard our congregation, staff, and guests across our Prestonwood, Texas campus. In this full-time role, you will partner closely with the Director of Safety & Security to advance a ministry built on protection, vigilance, and care.

About the Role

As the Assistant Director of Safety & Security, you will support the day-to-day leadership and administration of the security ministry serving Prestonwood Baptist Church and its related entities ("PBC"). This on-site position in Prestonwood, Texas calls for a proactive professional who can foster a culture where safety is shared by all and who represents the church with integrity and discretion.

Key Responsibilities

• Help oversee the administration and daily operations of PBC's security ministry alongside the Director of Safety & Security.
• Promote a churchwide mindset in which protecting one another is understood to be a responsibility shared by everyone.
• Safeguard and uphold the public reputation and trusted standing of Prestonwood Baptist Church.
• Develop and nurture constructive, respectful relationships with staff, members, visitors, and students.
• Maintain a welcoming yet secure environment throughout church facilities and campus activities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated background in safety, security, or law enforcement operations.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport across diverse groups of people.
• Sound judgment, dependability, and a service-minded approach to protecting people and property.
• Commitment to representing the values and mission of Prestonwood Baptist Church.
• Availability for a full-time, on-site schedule in Prestonwood, Texas.
