About the Role

As the Assistant Community Manager at Randolph Village, you will partner with the Community Manager to keep daily operations running smoothly across this Benton Communities property in Fairland, Montgomery County. This is a full-time, on-site position ideal for someone who blends sharp organizational skills with a genuine commitment to resident satisfaction in a multi-family apartment setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Community Manager with the day-to-day administration and operation of the apartment community.
  • Greet residents and prospective renters, answer inquiries, and deliver a consistently positive leasing and living experience.
  • Assist with leasing activity, application processing, lease renewals, and accurate record keeping.
  • Help track rent collection, resident accounts, and related financial documentation.
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure service requests are addressed promptly and the property is well maintained.
  • Contribute to resident retention efforts and community engagement initiatives.
  • Support compliance with applicable policies for both conventional and affordable housing programs.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in residential property management, leasing, or a customer-facing administrative role is preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with standard office software; familiarity with property management systems is a plus.
  • A resident-first mindset and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
  • Availability to work full-time on-site in Fairland, Montgomery County.
