The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Asset Protection Associate to join our team at Walmart in Gainesville, Georgia. This full-time position offers an hourly wage ranging from $17 to $30 per hour, with additional performance incentives and potential premiums based on schedule or facility conditions.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage loss prevention strategies within the store to minimize shrinkage and ensure a safe shopping environment for customers and employees.
• Conduct regular inventory checks, audits, and surveillance to identify potential security risks and address them promptly.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding safety measures and assist in resolving any issues related to product security or loss prevention.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops focused on enhancing skills in asset protection techniques and best practices.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; however, previous experience in a similar role may be preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain a positive attitude during challenging situations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers, coworkers, and management.
• A valid driver’s license is required for those who need to travel between stores or facilities as part of their duties (if applicable).
