About the Role
We are seeking certified peace officers and law enforcement professionals interested in off-duty armed security work. This is a full-time position offering 12-hour shift rotations available around the clock, providing flexible scheduling for active and retired officers looking to supplement their careers or transition into dedicated security roles.
What You'll Do
- Provide armed security services across assigned locations and accounts
- Maintain vigilance and situational awareness in protecting client properties and personnel
- Respond to incidents and emergencies with professionalism and restraint
- Document security activities and maintain detailed incident reports
- Coordinate with clients and team members to ensure seamless coverage
- Uphold the highest standards of conduct and legal compliance
What We're Looking For
- Current certification as an Illinois Police Officer or Law Enforcement Officer in good standing with your employing department
- Ability to provide VE-PEC (Verification of Employment as Peace Officer) documentation from your department of record
- Valid Illinois peace officer credentials and active certified status
- Commitment to professional security standards and client satisfaction
- Availability to work flexible 12-hour shifts within a 24/7 operational schedule
