About the Role

The Aquatic Supervisor at Bay Venues in Otumoetai is responsible for overseeing all aquatic activities and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for our patrons. This role involves managing lifeguards, maintaining pool facilities, and implementing safety protocols.

Your Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage lifeguard teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
• Conduct regular facility inspections to maintain cleanliness and functionality of aquatic areas.
• Create and implement emergency response plans for aquatic incidents.
• Oversee the maintenance and operation of pool equipment and facilities.
• Ensure all staff adhere to health and safety guidelines, including first aid and CPR training.

What We're Looking For

• A proven track record in aquatic supervision or a related field.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and patrons.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of safety and hygiene.
• First Aid and CPR certified.
• Experience with pool facility management is advantageous.
