Westdale Asset Management is hiring an Apartment Maintenance Technician for our 239-unit community in Duluth, Gwinnett County. Join our team to provide essential maintenance and repair services that keep residents satisfied and our property operating at peak performance.
About the Role
As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you'll manage all aspects of apartment maintenance across our Duluth property. This is a full-time, hourly position offering $24.00 to $26.00 per hour, plus monthly renewal bonuses paid in addition to your base compensation.
What You'll Do
- Perform HVAC maintenance, repairs, and system diagnostics to ensure reliable heating and cooling
- Complete electrical work including outlet repairs, wiring, and safety inspections
- Execute mechanical system repairs and preventive maintenance across units
- Handle plumbing repairs, fixture replacement, and drainage troubleshooting
- Respond to resident maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Inspect units and common areas to identify maintenance needs before they become emergencies
- Maintain detailed records of all completed repairs and materials consumed
- Coordinate with management on work priorities and scheduling
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience in multifamily residential maintenance or apartment building operations
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and work independently
- Strong customer service orientation and professional communication skills
- Flexibility to respond to maintenance emergencies when needed
