What This Role Involves

The role of an Anesthesiologist at Summit Health Physicians involves providing expert anesthesia care to patients across a variety of medical procedures and surgical settings. What You'll Do

• Evaluate and manage patient risks in pre-operative assessments.
• Provide anesthesia during various surgical procedures, including general, regional, and local anesthesia techniques.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and intervene as necessary to maintain safety and well-being.
• Develop and implement post-anesthesia care plans for patients.
• Participate in ongoing medical education and professional development activities.

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution.
• Licensed to practice medicine in New Jersey.
• Completion of a residency program in Anesthesiology.
• Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA).
• Proven experience in anesthesia care, preferably with a focus on surgical procedures and patient safety.
