Allied – Polysomnographic Tech

Providence is seeking a Polysomnographic Technician to join our clinical team in Phoenix, Jackson County. This part-time position offers the opportunity to deliver critical diagnostic care to patients undergoing sleep studies at our facility.

About the Role

In this role, you'll operate specialized polysomnography equipment and work directly with patients during sleep studies. Your precise monitoring and detailed recording of physiological data enable physicians to diagnose sleep disorders accurately and guide patient treatment. You'll be central to a care team dedicated to improving sleep health outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and calibrate polysomnography equipment and patient sensors before each study
• Apply electrodes and sensor arrays to patients with care and professionalism
• Monitor patient vital signs, sleep stages, and physiological events throughout multi-hour overnight sessions
• Record and document sleep study data with precision and accuracy
• Maintain patient comfort and respond to needs in a calm, supportive manner
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and communicate technical observations to the clinical team
• Adhere to safety protocols, infection control standards, and patient privacy requirements

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent; formal sleep medicine or allied health training preferred
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification or demonstrated path to certification
• Proficiency with polysomnographic equipment and medical monitoring technology
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate data collection
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evening and night hours as required
• Excellent patient interaction and communication skills
• Dedication to confidentiality, patient safety, and quality care delivery
