Allied – Physical Therapist

McDonough District Hospital seeks an experienced Physical Therapist to provide high-quality rehabilitation services to patients in Macomb. About the Role

As a Physical Therapist at McDonough District Hospital, you will evaluate, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions for patients across the continuum of physical rehabilitation. Your clinical skills and compassion will help patients regain mobility, strength, and independence to resume their daily activities.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate patients through comprehensive assessments to determine rehabilitation potential and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions including therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and modality-based treatment
• Monitor therapeutic progress and modify treatment protocols based on patient response and functional goals
• Document patient care accurately and maintain complete medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient-centered care
• Provide patient education on home exercise programs, activity modification, and strategies for long-term wellness

What We're Looking For

• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license for the state of Illinois
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning capabilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Patient-focused approach and commitment to clinical excellence
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment
