Are you a certified coach or licensed mental health professional in South Korea looking to broaden your impact? intellect is partnering with practitioners to deliver accessible mental wellbeing support as a Behavioral Health Coach.
About the Role
As a Behavioral Health Coach with intellect, you'll join our telehealth platform as an independent practitioner, guiding clients toward better mental wellbeing and personal development. Support is delivered mainly through scheduled 30-minute video sessions hosted on the intellect platform. This is a freelance contract role based in South Korea, giving you the freedom to set your own working hours — an ideal way to complement an existing role or private practice. Candidates based locally are preferred, though applicants elsewhere may also be reviewed.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one telehealth coaching and mental health support to intellect's clients
- Concentrate on sub-clinical concerns such as workplace stress, procrastination, and maintaining work-life balance
- Help clients define and pursue meaningful goals across their personal lives, careers, and relationships
- Partner with our in-house clinical team, sharing feedback to refine the program and platform
Qualifications
- An active International Coaching Federation (ICF) certification, or a Master's degree / Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling or Clinical Psychology
- Strong command of coaching methods and/or evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, DBT, or SFBT
- ICF Coaches: a minimum of 200 logged coaching hours
- Counsellors and Clinical Psychologists: at least 300 post-graduation clinical hours
- Fluency in both English and the local language
- Preference given to those with background in EAP work, counselling working adults, or coaching individuals in managerial positions
