About the Role
This Adjunct, Licensed Vocational Nursing position at Alvin College is part of an ongoing part-time faculty pool created to fill teaching assignments as they become available throughout the academic year. This is an on-site, full-time-classified opportunity based in Alvin. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and evaluated according to current departmental staffing needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction within the Licensed Vocational Nursing program.
- Prepare and present course materials aligned with established curriculum and program outcomes.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support learner success.
- Maintain accurate records and uphold institutional academic standards.
Qualifications
- Appropriate nursing credentials and licensure required to teach in an LVN program.
- Relevant clinical and/or teaching experience in vocational nursing.
- To meet SACSCOC accreditation requirements, applicants must upload supporting documentation, including transcripts and proof of qualifications.
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and effective learning environment.
