About This Position

NCN Health is seeking an Activity Assistant to join our Community Health and Wellbeing team. The role involves supporting the Aged Care and Disability Team in delivering planned activity groups and enhancing residents' quality of life through engaging activities.

Your Responsibilities

• Supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of recreational and social activities for aged care and disability residents
• Maintaining a safe and positive environment during all activities
• Assisting in the organization of events and outings as required
• Collaborating with team members to ensure resident needs are met
• Documenting activity sessions and providing feedback on resident engagement

Requirements

• Previous experience in aged care or disability services is advantageous but not essential
• A passion for enhancing the quality of life for residents through engaging activities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office
• Valid driver’s license (due to potential need for transportation)
