About the Role

This full-time travel position places you in a busy outpatient clinic in Richland, located in Benton County, Washington. As a Travel Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant with TheraEx Therapy, you will partner with supervising physical therapists to deliver rehabilitation care that helps patients regain mobility, strength, and independence. The assignment runs for 13 weeks at 40 hours per week, scheduled across 8-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out physical therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising physical therapist in an outpatient setting.
• Guide patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises and functional activities.
• Track patient progress and document responses to treatment accurately.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and recovery expectations.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming clinical environment throughout each shift.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active licensure or eligibility to practice as a PTA in the state of Washington.
• Prior experience in an outpatient therapy environment is highly valued.
• Flexibility and adaptability suited to a 13-week travel assignment.
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care.
