Position Summary
The Engineering Lead for the Acquisition team at Flock will play a pivotal role in driving the development and delivery of critical products that directly impact Flock’s growth. This position involves leading a team towards its goals, owning both delivery and operational reliability, as well as providing technical coaching to engineers without line management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Acquisition team in delivering high-quality, well-tested TypeScript code that impacts fleet acquisition for Flock.
- Work closely with the Product Manager (PM) to ensure delivery and technical quality of features that directly affect how fleets find and choose Flock.
- Shape the use of AI tools and coding agents within the team to enhance productivity without compromising on code quality or reliability.
Who We're Looking For
- A proven Engineering Lead with experience in leading technical teams and delivering high-quality software products.
- Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, particularly in writing production-ready code.
- Experience in AI tools and coding agents that can be leveraged to improve development processes.
- A passion for using AI by default and staying curious about its potential applications.
