Role Overview
The GPI Albany, NY office is seeking a full-time, team-oriented, self-motivated Senior Environmental Scientist with eight plus years of experience as a consultant and/or scientist in an environmental consulting firm or environmental/governmental agency. The qualified candidate will be responsible for processing a wide range of environmental aspects of various projects, performing technical fieldwork, and preparing reports.
Your Responsibilities
- Process a wide range of environmental aspects of a variety of projects
- Perform technical fieldwork related to environmental assessments and monitoring
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for project deliverables
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Conduct site visits, sampling, and data collection as needed
What We're Looking For
- Eight plus years of experience in environmental consulting or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong technical skills in environmental assessment, monitoring, and reporting
- Experience with regulatory compliance and permitting processes
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
