Sioux Valley Energy is a member-owned electric cooperative dedicated to providing safe, reliable, and affordable electricity to communities across eastern South Dakota and southwest Minnesota. We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Engineering Technician to join our team in Colman or Brandon, SD.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Assist with the design, development, and implementation of engineering projects
- Conduct site inspections and perform field work as needed
- Support engineers in drafting and reviewing technical documents
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
What We're Looking For
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on technical skills
- Experience in engineering or related field is preferred but not required
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A valid driver's license with the ability to travel to job sites as needed
