Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Intervention Specialist to join our team at Applied Behavioral Services. As an Intervention Specialist, you will play a crucial role in designing and leading ABA-based education and treatment programs for children and young adults. Your work will focus on helping learners build skills that last through collaboration, integrity, and measurable outcomes.
Your Responsibilities
- Design and implement individualized intervention plans based on assessment results
- Provide direct one-on-one or group therapy sessions to support skill development
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including educators, psychologists, and parents
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed to ensure measurable outcomes
- Document all interactions and progress accurately for reporting purposes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- Certification as an ABA Therapist from a recognized organization
- Experience working with children and young adults with developmental disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient and detail-oriented approach to work
