Role Overview
We are seeking a highly capable Project Engineer Electrical to join our team and play a critical role in delivering a complex thermal drying plant project based in Wellington Seaview. Reporting to the Construction Manager, this role will lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of all electrical, instrumentation, and control systems ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of all electrical, instrumentation, and control systems for a complex thermal drying plant project.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical components into the overall project design.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and documentation to support project execution.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members as needed.
Who We're Looking For
- A proven track record in electrical engineering with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Demonstrated expertise in electrical design, installation, and commissioning processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- A degree or certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
