Position Summary

The Mechanical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all mechanical construction and maintenance activities related to Trackless Mobile Machinery (TMM), heavy lifting equipment, cranes, rigging operations, and mechanical plant on site. The incumbent ensures that all mechanical work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the operation of TMM, heavy lifting equipment, cranes, and rigging operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
• Coordinate mechanical maintenance activities to ensure minimal downtime.
• Monitor and report on mechanical performance and efficiency.
• Participate in the development of mechanical work plans and schedules.

What You Bring

• A proven track record in supervising mechanical operations in a construction environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including TMM, cranes, and heavy lifting equipment.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and statutory requirements related to mechanical work.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
