What This Role Involves

Select Specialty Hospital - Erie is seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a part-time night shift therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing critical care services to patients requiring extended healing and recovery.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage the respiratory status of critically ill patients
• Assist with the administration of ventilator therapy and other respiratory treatments
• Conduct diagnostic tests and interpret results to ensure accurate patient care
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient care activities and progress

What You Bring

• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist or related field is required
• Current state licensure in respiratory therapy is necessary
• Strong knowledge of respiratory care procedures and equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts (6:30 p.m. - 7 a.m.) on two shifts per week
