The role of a Kitchen Helper at Bachmann Japanese Restaurant involves performing essential duties during the opening and closing of the restaurant. Your responsibilities also include preparing salads, peeling eggshells, making gyoza, and other related tasks.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing duties as required by the restaurant schedule.
• Aid in food preparation processes including deep frying, cooking soups, and cutting vegetables and meat according to SOPs.
• Conduct deep-frying tasks and prepare salads.
• Peel eggshells and make gyoza.
• Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage.
• Prepare sauces, spices, seasonings, and marinades as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
• A willingness to learn and follow standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Basic culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
