Class A Delivery Driver at Core-Mark in Durand, Illinois
Role Overview
We are seeking a Class A Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics division, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of products across various routes. This role is integral in supporting America's food distribution system.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Drive Class A trucks to deliver goods to designated locations
- Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and company policies
- Pick up and drop off shipments at various retail outlets and warehouses
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including documentation and signatures from recipients
- Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Holding a valid Class A CDL license with no major violations or accidents in the past 3 years
- A minimum of one year of experience as a professional truck driver
- Possess strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Valid state-issued ID and clean driving record
