About the Role
This is a 6-month temporary opportunity with the possibility of extension. As a Senior Full Stack Developer at Applaudo Studios, you will thrive in real-world production systems and be responsible for shipping features across the full stack using React/TypeScript on the frontend and Python/FastAPI or Node.js on the backend. You must have experience building data-heavy enterprise UIs such as admin and configuration screens, multi-level filtering, and large interactive tables via ag-Grid. Additionally, you should have significant experience with either Python/FastAPI or Node.js, along with solid SQL and hands-on PostgreSQL experience.
Your Responsibilities
- Ship production features independently across the full stack using React/TypeScript on the frontend and Python/FastAPI or Node.js on the backend.
- Create secure, well-built features that hold up in a multi-tenant SaaS environment and stand up to scrutiny from senior stakeholders.
- Implement OAuth 2.0/Okta, JWT, and role-based access control in an API context.
- Optimize SQL queries and perform relational data modeling with PostgreSQL.
- Work inside existing architecture, reading the code that's already there, understanding why it was built that way, and making sound feature-level decisions without needing to redesign from scratch.
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with 5+ years of experience in shipping production features independently. You should have strong hands-on production experience with React and TypeScript, including MUI or styled-components for design-system component libraries. Proven experience building data-heavy enterprise UIs is essential, along with significant experience with either Python/FastAPI or Node.js. Solid SQL and hands-on PostgreSQL experience are required, including query optimization and relational data modeling.
